TAMPA, Fla. — Crews have reopened a section of the Howard Frankland Bridge following an early morning crash.
The bridge’s three right northbound lanes just before the exit to Tampa International Airport were blocked as debris sat on the roadway.
A damaged car was towed away around 6:30 a.m. Saturday. Crews cleaned up the highway and reopened all lanes just before 7 a.m.
Traffic cameras show some traffic congestion on the bridge.
It’s not yet known how the crash happened, and there is no word on any injuries.
